The director of Makro Cash & Carry in the Czech Republic, Guillaum Chen, has been replaced by Olivier Langlet, according to the daily E15. Langlet worked previously as the director of the Metro group in Ukraine and he’s expected to follow in the path set by his predecessor. E15 writes that the businessman Tomáš Čupr wrote on Twitter that the reason for Chen’s dismissal was connected with the cost of Makro’s new distribution center in Kozomin and delays in its completion. The paper claims that trial operations of the center began in January.
