Debenhams is preparing to open a store next spring at Bucuresti Mall. The new opening marks the UK fashion retailer’s return to the Romanian market after Octavian Radu, who owned the franchise, closed all Debenhams locations in April 2013, citing low sales on a competitive market.
Debenhams currently has 240 stores in 28 countries.
