Decathlon reopened its store on Theodor Pallady boulevard in Bucharest following a five-month modernization, which included doubling its surface area to 4,200 sqm. The French sporting goods retailer hopes the upgrades will increase the store’s footfall by 40 percent. The company is planning to modernize all its existing stores in Romania as well as open new locations. Its Romanian portfolio currently includes 20 locations, with the most recent opening in Botosani.
