The 1,733 sqm digital store will be the first in what the sporting goods retailer hopes is a series of locations that will offer digital services. Three more stores are set to open later this year. The company’s online sales are steadily increasing, currently accounting for almost 3 percent of total sales. The chain employs almost 1,300 people in Hungary. In 2015, it posted pre-tax profit of HUF 1.4bn, increasing its turnover by 26 percent.
