French sporting goods retailer Decathlon has opened its first store in Ljubljana. The 2,700 sqm store opened at BTC Hala, Slovenia’s biggest retail center. Decathlon also launched an e-shop for the country.
The retailer intends to open a second location before the end of the year. Decathlon has more than 1,000 stores around the world and 70,000 employees. In Southeast Europe, the retailer is also active in Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia, where it plans to open a second store in Zagreb this week.
