Decathlon is preparing to open its first store on the Slovak market in 2015. The sports retailer is building a 4,000 sqm store in Bory Retail Zone in Bratislava, with completion scheduled for next spring. Decathlon bought the plot from Penta, which developed the retail zone, in March 2013. Its store is going up next to Hornbach. Decathlon is part of the French Oxylane Group and operates 750 outlets in 21 countries. It reported a €7bn turnover last year.
