Dedeman bought 4 acres of land in Hunedoara from Plaza Centers for €1.2m, according to Hanan Schraiter, the marketing and business development manager at Plaza Romania. The news was released in a statement to the London Stock Exchange. Plaza Center also announced plans to sell additional land parcels in Hunedoara, Constanta and Miercurea Ciuc. The company said the land is losing its value. Plaza Centers said its 36,500 sqm plot in Miercurea Ciuc is worth €2m and a 26,500 sqm plot in Constanta is worth €2.5m. Plaza Centers also owns another 41,000 sqm of land in Hunedoara worth €1.2m.
