5 September 2014

Dedeman, the biggest player on the Romanian DIY market, opened its third location in Bucharest today. The company invested €16m into the new store, which is located in the city’s Colentina area. Dedeman Colentina covers 12,000 sqm and offers more than 45,000 products. The store will have about 200 employees.
“Our strategy to build at least one store in every sector of Bucharest is underway. By 2015, we want to be active in all of the most important cities of the country and be more accessible to our customers in every way,” said Dragos Paval, Dedeman’s chairman.
Dedeman Colentina is the third new store the retailer opened this year. A fourth location is set to open soon in Targu Jiu. By the end of next year, Dedeman plans to have 50 stores in its Romanian network.
