Following a €17m investment, Dedeman will open its second store in Timisoara on Friday. The store will cover 16,000 sqm and include 45,000 products.
The DIY retailer wants to boost its local network to 50 locations over the next two years. The chain currently has 42 stores on the Romanian market, producing a turnover of RON 3.4bn and a net profit of RON 416m last year.
The company’s main competitors include Brico Depot, Leroy Merlin and Praktiker.
