Deichmann increased its turnover by 10.2 percent to €58.5m in Slovakia last year. The shoe retailer is continuing to expand its Slovak branch Deichmann-Obuv SK, having added four new stores to its network and increased its staff by 6 percent to 365 employees. The company now has 59 outlets in Slovakia. Deichmann is planning to open four new stores this year. It also hopes to expand its e-shop, which it launched in February 2014. The company has been active on the Slovak market since 2004, when it opened a store in Košice.
