Deli2 from the Tower Investments group aims to debut on NewConnect in the second half of 2022, according to president Bartosz Kazimierczuk. This year, it plans to enter the Wrocław agglomeration. In the years 2022-2023, it wants to offer services to clients of the Tri-City, Poznań, Kraków and the Katowice region.
“We believe in the Deli2 business model and the development of our brand. We are considering plans to make Deli2 public. With our debut on the NewConnect market, we are aiming for the second half of 2022. We are also considering an earlier public offering, but not yet declaring specific decisions,” said Kazimierczuk.
The company currently cooperates with over 30 specialized food brands.
“On the other hand, we have at least a few more brands that we want to expand our offer with to complement a certain niche on the market. In addition, we plan to expand the offer with new categories: household chemicals, cosmetics, personal care products. Online delicatessen fulfill orders in Warsaw. other agglomerations is one of the foundations of the strategy. We are planning a debut in the Wrocław agglomeration this year. In the years 2022-2023 we want to offer our services to clients of the Tri-City, Poznań, Kraków and the Katowice district,” Kazimierczuk pointed out.
“The main shareholder of Deli2 is Tower Investments. Building the value of Deli2 will also affect the valuation of Tower Investments,” Kazimierczuk said.
“Deli2.pl is an online store and we do not have any stationary outlets in our plans. From the very beginning we had this idea to create a premium food delicatessen, but only in the online world. These are global trends, but it is also clearly visible in Poland. The pandemic is very strong. changed the behavior of consumers and we want to join this trend of online shopping,” said Kazimierczuk.
Deli2.pl offers products from selected thematic delicatessen in Warsaw (including fresh baked goods, meat, fish, cheese, preserves and a wide range of ready meals from over 30 local suppliers and producers). It is the only portal that offers Adam Gessler’s Kitchen products.
In December 2020, Tower Investments launched deli2.pl online deli, offering mainly premium and bio products. For the time being, the residents of the Warsaw agglomeration will be able to do shopping here, but – as it was announced at the time – in the coming years, it will appear in the 6 largest Polish agglomerations, offering access to over 10 million customers.
Tower Investments specializes in comprehensive development services for the largest retail and service chains: from choosing the right location, through the purchase of real estate and obtaining the necessary administrative permits, to turnkey construction. Moreover, it is the owner of the SHOPIN brand. In 2017, the company switched to the main market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange from NewConnect.
