E-shops operating on the Czech market are expected to net CZK 67bn in revenues this year, up 15 percent y-o-y, writes the server aktualne.cz, citing data from Heureka.cz. There are currently 37,200 e-retailers active on the Czech market, 200 more than last year. Tomáš Braverman, director of Heureka.cz, expects the market will consolidate and doesn’t anticipate any new e-retail launches. Revenue from e-retailers account for 6.6 percent of all retail sales on the Czech market, according to recent figures. A third of the revenue come from the sales of electronic goods. Sales of health and cosmetic products, meanwhile, have increased by 29 percent since last year and fashion has jumped 15 percent.
