E-shops are opening up with increasing frequency in standard shopping centers. Alza.cz, the largest electronic e-shop in the Czech market, has opened its 7th store and plans to continue its expansion next year. Another, Notino.cz (a cosmetics and perfumes retail), opened an outlet in Nova Karolina shopping mall in Ostrava just a few days ago. E-shop revenues grew 23 percent in October, while retail revenues in general added mere 3.1 percent in the same period. The price comparison tool Heureka foresees CZK 96 bn in Czech spending over internet in 2016, up 19 percent y-o-y and the head of the E-commerce association Jan Vetyška told Hospodářské noviny that the difference between shopping offline and online is fading. Next year he precits slight growth in the number of classic shops, and a moderate drop in number of e-shops. Stores sizes in shopping centers are shrinking in order to cut costs, leading mall owners to offer units to e-shops, according to Alza head of expansion Jan Moudřík.
