The volume of warehouse space in the Czech Republic leased to e-shops tripled to 180,000 sqm in the second half of 2014, according to CBRE. Amazon, Mall.cz and Alza.cz signed on for the most space, with Amazon alone taking more than 130,000 sqm. By the end of 2014, e-retailers occupied more than 260,000 sqm of the total 4.9 million sqm of warehouse space on the Czech market. CBRE predicts the lease volume will increase by 50,000 to 100,000 sqm this year, with retailers focusing on Prague, Brno and Pilsen. Panattoni Park Prague Airport, Prologis Park Prague Jirny and Úžice and CTPark Bor attracted the most demand.
