French company Malterite Souffle Bulgaria will invest €30m in a new malt plant in Pleven. The investment will have the result of tripling its capacity to 50,000 tons, a level it’s reached after five years of production in the city. Construction of the new plant will start in spring 2018. It will employ 20 people trained to operate the high-tech plant. The increase in capacity is expected to have an impact on the rest of the agricultural sector in the region.
