Following an extensive €2m renovation, ECE and Allianz have reopened the food court at Silesia City Center in Katowice. The modernized 3,000 sqm food court got a new design and furniture. Restaurants include McDonald’s, Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken, North Fish and Sphinx as well as local operators like Sam Smak and Eataliana. Silesia City Center was opened in 2005 and features more than 260 shops, service providers, cafés, restaurants, a multiplex movie theater, and a fitness center on a total leasable area of 86,000 sqm. Allianz and ECE, together with an Asian joint-venture partner, acquired the center in 2013. ECE oversees management and leasing services for the property.
