The developer ECE has started work on Holsten-Galerie, a €145m shopping center that is set to open in the German city of Neumünster in the fall of 2015. The project will include 90 stores, cafes and restaurants on two levels. Half of the 22,800 sqm retail space has already been leased. Tenants include Sky, Intersport, Deichmann, Parfümerie Schuback, Mister Lady, McPaper and Schuhpark Fascies. In addition to its retail component, Holsten-Galerie will also offer 1,400 sqm of offices and 950 parking spaces.
“Holsten-Galerie will become the new living room in the heart of the city center and will provide fascinating shopping experiences. We, as a family-run company, made a conscious decision for the location Neumünster and will take long-term responsibility as investor for Holsten-Galerie,” said Alexander Otto, ECE’s CEO.
