EDP Renováveis has revealed positive financial results for the first three months of 2016. Its net income was higher than expected by most market analysts, with net income increasing 32 percent to €75m. EDP Renováveis, already the fourth largest wind power generator in the world, increased the amount of clean energy it produces by 30 percent during this period. Revenues from EDP Renováveis totaled €508m, a 22 percent improvement from the first quarter of 2015, thanks to the increased capacity.
