Elicio opened a new wind farm near the town of Alibunar in northern Serbia. The Belgium company invested €20m in the project, with the World Bank, the International Financial Corporation and several banks securing €60m more. The wind farm has 21 turbines with a total capacity 42 megawatts that will supply energy to 38,000 households. The wind farm is expected to reduce CO2 emissions by 88,000 tons annually. Elicio constructed 30 wind farms in Belgium, France and Kenya.
