A cornerstone was laid by in the Montenegrin town of Bijelo Polje to mark the beginning of construction of a new shopping center. The €3.5m project will offer 6,200 sqm of space that’s expected to employ around 100 people in an abandoned part of the city. The investor, Elkos Group, was established 1989 in Kosovo and employs about 3,500 people. In Kosovo it has 30 markets and distribution centers in most of the larger towns. In Macedonia, it operates two shopping centers, in Stip and Gostivar and its activities extend to Albania.
