Empik Media & Fashion is moving forward with its plan to exit the fashion sector. The company confirmed that talks on the sale of some assets are already in an advanced stage. “EM&F has just reached an agreement with potential buyers regarding the sale price on the upcoming takeover of the chain,” the company wrote in a statement. This includes the sale of the River Island brand.
Empik Media & Fashion operates a chain of 623 stores, totaling 337,895 sqm of retail space. The company is currently exiting the Ukrainian market. The process is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of the year.
