The Belgrade Stock Exchange has approved the release of debt securities issued by Energoprojekt holding a.d. in the total amount of RSD 3.3 billion (approx. EUR 25,596 million). It is about the issue of 330,000 bonds with a nominal value of 10,000 RSD each. The maturity of the issued bonds is five years, with an interest rate of 2.95 percent (three-month BELIBOR).
The issuance of Energoprojekt’s corporate bonds was announced at this year’s shareholders’ assembly, and the domestic holding company submitted a request for their subscription three days before the New Year. According to the financial report from the middle of 2020, the total debt of Energoprojekt amounted to RSD 4.03 billion (approx. EUR 31.25 million).
In addition to trading in shares and government bonds, issues of corporate debt securities have been increasing on the Belgrade Stock Exchange lately. Although for now it is a matter of relatively small volumes, even values, domestic companies are looking for potential investors in their debt in this way.
