The private equity fund Enterprise Investors, which recently sold Noriel, one of the largest game and toy distribution companies in Romania, will bring a new retailer of clothing and sports equipment, to the local market.
Polish Enterprise Fund VIII, a private equity fund managed by Enterprise Investors, acquired a 80 percent stake in Snap Outdoor this year, the value of the transaction amounting to more than EUR 20 million. The company will operate in the local market only online for now, but there are also plans to open physical stores, depending on how the demand for its products evolves.
Snap Outdoor was founded in 2001 in Gliwice, where its headquarters and logistics centers are located, and it has three physical stores in Poland. The fourth physical store will be inaugurated soon, also in Poland. Last year, the company recorded revenues of around EUR 30 million, almost double compared to 2020.
