The plasterboard systems manufacturer Etex Building Performance (Siniat Romania), part of the Etex Group, registered RON 250 million turnover in 2020, increasing by 6 percent compared to 2019.
The increase comes amid the recalibration of the dynamics of the construction market, characterized last year by growth in the residential segment, the demand for logistics space, as well as the need to redevelop and resize office space.
For this year, the company estimates a 5-10 percent increase in local business and wants to invest EUR 5-6 million in a gypsum drying plant at the Rovinari thermal power plant of the Oltenia Energy Complex, to ensure the continuity of raw materials at the plasterboard factory in Turceni.
