ETI European Food Industries asks EBRD for €23m loan

ETI European Food Industries has asked The European Bank for Reconstruction and DEvelopment (EBRD) for a long-term loan of up to €23m. The company would use the funds to help finance construction of a confectionary factory near the city of Craiova. The total cost of the project is estimated at €39m. The EBRD board will review the loan request on Nov. 11. ETI European Food Industries is a subsidiary of Eti Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret, which is based in Turkey and has more than 5,000 employees. The company exports to 60 countries worldwide.
