Fast food alternatives spreading in Czech Republic

4 April 2012

The British yogurt chain My Culture plans to enter the Czech market as part of its wider EMEA expansion. The idea is to offer fresh yogurts with fruits, milk cocktails and fruit juices in shopping centers. The company is looking for a partner in the Czech market to offer a healthy alternative to fatty foods offered by most fast food chains already established in the Czech Republic. A local brand called Fruitisimo operating fruit bars in the country is hoping to add 10 new outlets this year to its current 20. Another Czech retailer Mangaloo offers fresh fruit and vegetable juices, yogurts and cereals at 11 outlets across Prague, Pardubice and Hradec Králové.
