Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Serbia restarts production

8 July 2020

Employees of the Kragujevac factory Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) Serbia returned to work on July after a break that began March 16, allowing production of the Fiat 500L to start up again in two shifts. FCA workers were on paid leave due to the coronavirus pandemic and, as previously announced by the union, the harmonization of production with the demand on the world market.

Deputy president of the Independent Trade Union of the factory, Nebojsa Mandaric, stated that the maximum sanitary conditions for the work of the employees are being provided. He could not say what the daily volume of production is, however.
