Immofinanz has begun construction of its fifth Stop Shop in Serbia in Pozarevac, eastern Serbia. The new Stop Shop Retail Park will be completed next April. The Austrian investor reported that cooperation with city authorities had proceeded well and that the permit for construction had been issued. In the first stage, Immofinanz will build 7,000 sqm of retail space in a project that will create 300 new jobs.
It’s the first major real estate investment in Pozarevac since 2000. Immofinanz bought some of the land from an industrial zone from Arriva along with 0.8 ha from the city of Pozarevac.
