Fore Partnership, the pan-European real estate investment group, acquired a shopping center at Esplanade in Wesel for €9.25m. The property offers 9,630 sqm. Main tenants include the electronic retailer Saturn, the discount supermarket group Aldi, and textile discounter KiK. Fore has purchased €175m worth of property in the UK and Germany since its establishment three years ago.
“The acquisition reflects our view that there is good value to be had in the retail sector, particularly in strong locations in mid-market towns often overlooked by core buyers,” said Basil Demeroutis, managing partner at Fore Partnership.
