US fashion chain Forever 21 is opening a flagship store at Potsdamer Platz Arkaden in Berlin. The company signed a 10-year lease on 2,210 sqm of retail space. Forever 21 currently operates three stores in Germany – two in Munich and one in Berlin. The company plans to open around 600 new stores worldwide by 2017.
Potsdamer Platz Arkaden offers 130 shops and restaurants over 40,000 sqm of space. In addition to Forever 21, TK Maxx and CCC also recently signed leases. The shopping center is part of the Potsdamer Platz Quarter which is DGNB silver-certified.
