Futurum expands by 40 percent

11 May 2012

TK Development has completed its addition to the Futurum shopping center in Hradec Králové. The 40 percent expansion of the space to 35,000 sqm came at a cost of CZK 400m. The number of units rose from 68 to 110. The extension should increase the competitiveness of Futurum in the city, as well as consolidate its position, since a further two major shopping centers are in the planning stages. The German developer ECE is working on the 130-store Arkády shopping mall next to the Malšovice football stadium, while Bratislava-based HB Reavis plans to build an Aupark with 170 shops.
