Construction work to extend Galeria Rynek in Tomaszów Lubelski is set to get underway at the beginning of November. The investment will expand the total area of the center to 17,500 sqm, with 11,000 sqm of GLA to be added to the project, allowing Galeria Rynek to offer 70 retail units. Kazimierz Podhajny, the investor behind Galeria Rynek, expects that the introduction of new brands and stores will increase footfall to 120,000 shoppers per week. The project is set to be completed in October, 2015.
“We’re in talks with a number of brands that are currently waiting for new commercial space in Tomaszów Lubelski,” says Podhajny. He says that the extension will create room for fashion, sport and home-furnishing retailers, while a food court, fitness center and a bowling alley could also be added.
