Gatlin Development Company secured a $13.265 million construction loan from City National Bank of Florida for Pine Island Marketplace in Davie. Gatlin bought the 11.2-acre site for $7.2 million on June 11. The project will be anchored by a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market. Located at the southeast corner of Stirling Road and South Pine Island Road, the Wal-Mart supermarket will occupy 42,000 square feet in a stand-alone building, as well as 25,000 square feet of retail in four additional buildings.
