GDF Suez Energy Romania is auctioning off dozens of its land parcels and redundant administrative office buildings around the country. The auction runs until May 7. The decision comes shortly after the company implemented a new online bill payment system. GDF Suez, which supplies gas to the southern half of Romania, owns properties in various cities around the country, including Predeal, Busteni, Gaesti, Potcoava, Covasna and Azuga. The buildings being auctioned are in areas where the company has few customers, according to GDF Suez officials.
