GDF Suez Energia Holding Hungary is selling its gas trade business to MET Magyarország. The price was not disclosed. The Hungarian Competition Office (GVH) must approve the deal. Under the agreement, GDF will continue to provide energy services to Hungary’s regulated retail market and operate as a gas distributor in six counties. MET Magyarország is 40 percent owned by Hungarian oil and gas company MOL, while WISD Holding Ltd. controls a 50-percent stake and MET ManCo AG controls a 10-percent stake.
