The construction of the first Belgrade retail chain Lidl, started this week on Vojislava Ilica Street in the Konjarnik district. Lidl has already built a store in Smederevo and launched works at a few other locations in Serbia.
By the end of 2017, the German discount retailer expects to have 20 stores in Serbia, which employing over 1,000 people. The retailer intends to complete its network of stores in Serbia by March 2018.
