The Polish footwear and fashion retailer Gino Rossi has reportedly broken off talks on the sale of its Simple clothing brand, the daily Puls Biznesu reports. This will come as no surprise to market observers who speculated earlier this month that Gino Rossi was just testing the market demand for its Simple brand. The fact that talks did not progress just proves the point, analysts say.
“The appetite among investors seems too weak to develop the Simple brand at the moment, which makes [the company] rather reluctant on the sale, especially after personal changes that have been recently implemented at the company,” said Tomasz Malicki, CEO of Gino Rossi.
