Greenleaf Capital (an affiliate of Tampa-based Homeowners Choice Property & Casualty) has picked up the Publix anchored Sorrento Hills Village Shopping Center for $12.3 million. Completed in 2015, the 61,400 sqf retail plaza is located at 24450 County Road 44 in Sorrento, FL, approximately 25 miles northwest of downtown Orlando. Along with Sorrento Hills, Greenleaf also owns office buildings in Tampa and Ocala, and marinas in Terra Verde in Treasure Island. “Sorrento Hills Village is a brand new shopping center located in a growing Orlando suburb,” says Greenleaf president Anthony Saravanos. “With Publix as its anchor, the center has drawn strong interest from other retailers, resulting in lease commitments for 96 percent of the available retail space.”
