31 March 2014

Griffin Group expects to start modernization work on its Hala Koszyki project in Warsaw at the beginning of April. Artur Wojtkiewicz, venture partner at Griffin Group, said ground work is expected take about two months, making it possible for the investor to start construction soon after. Griffin took over the project form the troubled developer Avestus in 2012. The project will be developed under the supervision of the Warsaw city conservator. EMS Architekci provided the design.

Before selling the project, Avestus had originally planned to deliver three residential buildings, totaling 10,000 sqm, at the site. Griffin changed the scheme to retail and office space.
