Globe Trade Centre secured Carrefour as an anchor for two of its planned retail projects in Warsaw: Galeria Północa and Galeria Wilanów. In all, the French retailer signed on for more than 17,000 sqm of retail space. The two projects are still in the process of getting construction permits, but GTC expects to secure them over the next 24 months. APA Wojciechowski and Moshe Tzur designed the schemes, which have already been endowed with LEED “Gold” certificates.
Set to go up in Warsaw’s Wilanów district, Galeria Wilanów will add nearly 61,000 sqm of retail space with 250 retail and service units. The 64,000 sqm Galeria Pólnocna is set to go up in the capital’s Białołęka district.
