H&M has announced that the retail giant will open a new store in the Francis Scott Key Mall on August 18th, 2016. The 20,000 square foot retail center will add approximately 30 employees to the expanding total of approximately 16,000 U.S. employees. Since opening it’s first U.S.store on New York’s Fifth Avenue 16 years ago, the brand has opened 425 locations across the country to date, with more planned in the future. ”We are thrilled to be opening our eleventh location in Maryland,” said U.S. President of H&M, Daniel Kulle. ”The state has been very welcoming to us and we are excited to create more employment opportunities with our expansion there.”
