HB Reavis Central Europe Real Estate Fund (CEREIF) sold Aupark Piešťany to NEPI for €39.5m. The shopping center features 10,000 sqm of retail space and 380 parking spots. The tenant list includes CCC Shoes, Mango, Orsay and New Yorker. Aupark Piešťany is the smallest of the four Auparks that HB Reavis developed in Slovakia. NEPI already acquired the Aupark shopping centers in Žilina and Košice. The largest Aupark center, located in Bratislava, was sold to Unibail-Rodamco in 2011. The disposal of Aupark Piešťany follows HB Reavis’ divestment of the 31,500 sqm Svätý Júr logistics center in Bratislava and the 16,500 sqm Malý Šariš logistics center in Prešov to Macquarie four months earlier. These transactions, along with the newly raised capital, will allow the fund to diversify beyond the Slovak market. In all, HB Reavis has divested 10 assets, worth a total of €750m, across its core markets in 2016. The sales included Aupark Piešťany as well as 33 Central in London.
