HB Reavis took a prime plot along Warsaw’s Chmielna street from Polish State Railways in a deal valued at PLN 171m. The final agreement was signed Tuesday. HB Reavis plans to start construction on the property at the corner of Chmielna and Jana Pawła II streets within the next two years. The project will add 100,000 sqm of leasable space to downtown Warsaw, 6,000 sqm of which will be retail.
“We’re pleased we’re won the bid for the land, located in the very heart of Warsaw. The project, due to its prime location, will surely attract many potential tenants,” said Stanislav Frňka, CEO of HB Reavis Poland.
