Heineken Romania sells 2.7 ha plot in Bucharest

13 March 2014

Heineken Romania sold a 2.7 ha plot of land that used to house the former Grivita factory in Bucharest. The property, located near the Basarab overpass, was sold to a group of investors. The beer producer put the property on sale in 2011, after securing permission from Bucharest CIty Hall to build on approximately 70 percent of the land. The new investors purchased the land late last year. The price of the transaction was not disclosed.
