Hervis is testing a small store concept on the Czech market. The Austrian sporting goods retailer opened its first Hervis Express at the Prague main railway station on Thursday. The new store concept will focus mainly on sports shoes. Other goods will be offered through an e-shop. CEO Karel Bárek told aktualne.cz that if the new concept proves successful, the retailer will open an additional 20 express stores over the next three to five years on the Czech market. Hervis currently operates 29 larger stores in the Czech Republic and is the second leading sporting goods retailer in the country.
