HILS Development caps VAT at 5% for apartments up to EUR 120,000

HILS Development, the real estate development company founded by the entrepreneur Ionuţ Negoiţă, announces that it will maintain the non-increased VAT rate of 5 percent in the first quarter of this year for homes with a value of up to EUR 120,000, the difference of up to 9 percent being borne by the company.
Thus, between January 15 and March 31, all apartments in the HILS Development projects that fall under the VAT increase measure will have an unchanged cost compared to the one in 2023.

“In the context in which the new tax measures impact people’s access to housing, we decided to absorb this impact by applying a differentiated discount to the price including VAT of the apartments, so that customers will not feel the increase in VAT imposed at all,” says Ionuţ Negoiţă, founder and CEO HILS Development.
Among the projects launched by HILS Development are the HILS Pallady, HILS Brauner and HILS Splai complexes, which host a community of over 6,000 inhabitants. At the end of last year, the developer launched HILS Republica, an extensive urban regeneration project which will include 5,000 homes and over 50,000 sqm of parks and green spaces.
