According to research by eNet Internet Research, the net turnover of Hungaryʼs online retail trade volume reached HUF 319 billion in 2015. That constituted 4.1 percent of the country’s total retail turnover, a dramatic rise from less than 1 percent a year before. The study reveals that 84 percent of regular internet users bought goods from Hungarian webshops, while 35 percent said they also used foreign online stores. Internet sales are predicted to continue growing for the next few years.
