Retail sales in Hungary increased by 4.3 percent y-o-y in April, according to raw data published by the Central Statistical Office (KSH). Growth slowed from 8.7 percent reported during the previous month, when spending rose in the run-up to the Easter holiday. In April, the retail sales volume increased by 6 percent adjusted for calendar effects compared to the same month of the previous year, according to KSH data.
