Hungarian retail sales up 5.1% in September

Hungary’s retail sales grew by 5.1 percent y-o-y in September, according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH). The sales volume increased by 4 percent in specialized and non-specialized food shops, 5.2 percent in non-food retail shops and 7.7 percent in automotive fuel retail. Sales in the national retail network as well as for mail order and e-retail totaled HUF 833bn for the month, according to KSH.
