Starting from 2021 the Hungarian National Land Center will be reviewing the landowners registrar checking the data provided in the system. The land offices will be checking all incomplete data and personal identification documents, and if they find them incomplete they will contact the property owner directly, giving him 90 days to reply. After the period of 90 days if the owner doesn’t report back his ownership of the land is passed on to the Hungarian state.
